I don't know exactly how to begin my blog except to suggest it is "time for a change". What kind of change? I see and hear so many women talking about their weight, their busy lifestyle, their cooking habits...women from all stages of life - raising small children, children about grown, single women and older women living alone. It seems that in every stage of life there are obstacles to good health. Time is a factor for most. Not wanting to cook for only one person. Not knowing how to cook a healthy meal with carbs, proteins, veggies, and even fat! My goal with this blog is to try and find a way to make life a little easier for matter their circumstances or stage of life they are in. I am not a doctor, dietician, or expert by any stretch. I am just a daughter, mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend who has a deep concern for the future of myself and all those around me. I would like to see us all live a healthier life so we can enjoy it as long as possible. I will take an adventure in playing with recipes, reading labels, studying food guides, and experimenting on my family and friends to come up with way to make life a little more simple....come join me in my adventure, will you?
